The headline verse appealed to me as I’ve started to read Proverbs and much of that is obsessed with wisdom.

Also, Job makes an operatically poetic speech about it:

“But where can wisdom be found? And where is the place of understanding?

“Man does not know its value, nor is it found in the land of the living.

“The deep says ‘It is not in me’; and the sea says ‘It is not with me.’

“It cannot be purchased for gold, nor can silver be weighed for its price.

…”From where does wisdom come? And where is the place of understanding?

“It is hidden from the eyes of all the living, and concealed from the birds of hte air.

“Death and Destruction say: ‘We have heard a report about it with our ears.’

So it felt like a treasure found to get to the end of this speech and hear Job’s words on wisdom: ‘And to man He said, “Behold the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to depart from evil is understanding.”

Dear God, Please help me pursue wisdom as much as I can. And help me develop understanding – that is, to turn away from everything that is evil. Thank You for everything Father. Thank You mostly for this task to read Your bible all the way through. It has been amazing. Please continue to help me see You in its pages, however mysterious You are in them, and however poorly my vision might be. In Jesus’ name, Amen
