God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed and though the mountains be carried into the midst of hte sea;
Though its waters roar and be trubled, though the mountains shake with its swelling.
There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacle of the most High.
God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her, just at the break of dawn..

He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two; He burns the chariot in the fire.

In 2 Kings 9-10, Jehu becomes king of Israel and wipes out Ahab’s heirs and eliminates Baal worship and so is promised four generations of rule.
Dear God, Thank you for the responsibilities you give me. Please help me do them your way, and to your will. Thank you for my children. Please help me to better raise them in your ways. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
