Deuteronomy 1-2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The final chapters of Numbers are a list of the places the Israelites stayed in their desert wanderings. God gives the borders of the land He is giving them in Canaan, and what to do once they get there (drive out all the inhabitants)<\/p>\n<p>The beginning of Deuteronomy is a recap of all the &#8220;highlights&#8221; of the wanderings in the desert. It has been tiring reading about it first time round, so reading it all again has required discipline. However, there are some interesting historical bits in there, such as God having given Moab to the descendants of Lot and Edom to Esau&#8217;s children, so they are not to hurt those tribes.<\/p>\n<p>Dear God, Thank you for our visiting family members. It is strengthening to have them here. Please build my patience and most importantly my love for them. Sorry for my sins today.
