Paul’s adventures continue in Jerusalem. He testifies to a large crowd of angry Jews, under the protection of the Romans who have arrested him, but it is in vain. A large group of them vow not to eat or sleep until Paul is killed.
Paul’s nephew hears of this plot and alerts the Roman Governor who, scared that he will be in trouble if the Roman citizen Paul is killed, sends him elsewhere.
Psalm 95 calls on us to sing to the Lord, the Rock of our salvation: and also reminds us not to harden our heart to Him.
Proverbs 7 continues with its theme against the temptress, a dual message against adultery – and also being attracted away from God by the ways of the world.
Dear God, Thank You for this lovely peaceful day. Thank You for the gifts You give me each day. Please help me be content in them. Dear Father please soften my heart to Your way, Your love and please help me show them to others. Please be with my brother P, and help me solve the current family issue in Your way. In Jesus’ name, Amen
